Iconic Hollywood Fashion

Fashion and styles have always been heavily influenced by the film industry – be it Hollywood or Bollywood. Today, we are starting a new series where we will showcase some iconic Hollywood/ Bollywood fashion that ruled the style circuit for decades and still are remembered fondly.

Audrey Hepburn’s Black dress

How else can we start the series if not with our very favorite – Audrey Hepburn’s black dress, black gloves paired with white pearls and a tiara in “Breakfast At Tiffany’s”. The Givenchy dress is seen as the inspiration for the LBD trend and is still a popular choice for themed parties. All girls are eternally thankful to her for bringing the lovely black dress to our lives. Also, donning this costume to one party has been a lifelong dream of mine.

James Bond’s Suits

Think of James Bond and the first thing that pops into every mind is sleek, well-fitted suits, a bow tie and the British accent of course. Be it Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan or even Daniel Craig, 007 rocked the bow tie like no one’s business. Decades later and a guy still tries to emulate the spy when dressing up for an event. We can’t blame them, can we? Now THAT is a trend that we hope never dies, ‘coz guys in a suit and bowtie look hot AF!

Until later,
