End of Season Sale 2017 Haul

Hola people!

It’s that glorious time of the year again! When our legs and bank balance both hate us vehemently. The sale season! Well, sale haul is a tradition we started last year and looking at the loot this year, doesn’t seem like something that is going to stop. This year, we hit both in-store and online stores during the end of the season or as the Myntra family called it – the End of Reason sale. I would be jumping headfirst to the haul loot now!

We hit the store a couple of weeks before the sale and only intended to window shop but we absolutely loved the shirt’s design. I have been digging the frayed look for some time now and wanted to pick something not too risky and that can work as workwear as well.

The shirt we picked up is a checkered one in black, white and baby pink. It has two pockets and frayed armholes. The armholes are pretty low and you can make the shirt instantly sexy by pairing it with a flirty bralette or you can go the traditional route like me and choose to wear a camisole instead.

Frayed checkered shirt – ~Rs 1200

My mother also picked a pair of footwear and I picked up some basics like camisoles, rubber bands etc.

We hit the HnM shop in the InOrbit Mall. HnM is pretty famous for its basics and tees, but apart from the basic black tees that I already own more than required, I am not a simple tee kind of girl. But, browsing through the new collection, we chanced upon this beautiful glorious blue summer wrap dress that looks absolutely gorgeous. Trust me when I say neither I nor the photos do any justice to the beauty of the dress or how happy it makes me. 😀

Shoppers Stop

This was the second stop on our spree and my mom hit gold. She picked up an absolute brilliant salwar kameez set in baby pink, a kurti in brilliant hues of blue and a white salwar to go with it. I, on the other hand, was once again drawn to black and picked up this simple kurti with a laced up front and no slits on the side (totally planning to pull this off as a dress too!). The kurti also has a black lace detailing at the hem and it just adds to the overall beauty.

Come join me as I tell you the story of a lovely little bag. A bag I deemed too small to be used in ANY social situations. But my mom fell in love with it and wanted it for her birthday, but since we were busy moving to Hyderabad during the week prior to her birthday, we couldn’t get it by then. And then during the sale, we saw the bag again and at a pretty good discount. So, we placed the order without batting an eye. And oh Lord, I fell in love the moment I saw it. It IS tiny but will fit all your necessities – phone, wallet, lip balm etc.. It is THE perfect size for a night out and is abso-freaking-mazingly cure as eff. I couldn’t stop modeling with this baby and I have already called dibs on her for any parties or events.

Now, comes the meat of the haul. Myntra had its “End of Reason Sale” recently and while you can find most of these items still on sale (a mere 10% pricier perhaps), I was happy to get my hands on some brands I have been eyeing and loved in the past.

Ever since I started my only formal or semi-formal clothes to office rule, I have been eyeing blouses, shirts, and dresses like never before. And I have been loving this crop shirt trend that levels up the shirt game altogether. So, first up is this gorgeous green printed blouson top from All About You. The color itself is lovely, the tropical print is the cherry on top. The outstanding feature of the blouse though has to be the buttons and collar. The buttons slant towards the top and have this Chinese collar kind of look that is not only different but chic as well.

All About You Women Green Printed Blouson Top Was Rs 1499, now Rs 631.07

Again, we have another crop shirt and this one is from Dressberry and you would not believe the price I snatched it for. The shirt is blue and white striped with some beautiful flower print scattered all over. The shirt also has two pretty bowties on either side of the shirt.

DressBerry Women Blue Regular Fit Printed Crop Casual Shirt. Was Rs 899, now Rs 378.47

This one, this one is a gem. It is a shirt dress (finally my first shirt dress!) with tiny maroon and blue checks. But, the best part. Wait for it.

Roadster Women Maroon & Blue Reversible Checked Shirt Dress. Was Rs 1899, now Rs 799.47

IT IS REVERSIBLE. And the other side has bigger checks and I love it! Bam! The only complaint I have of this dress is that the last button is way above the hem causing a long  (sexy) front slit which might make it necessary for me to wear stockings beneath, which I am not a huge fan of. Hmph!

Last up is a pair of track pants. I  finally joined a dance class after a break that lasted years and I have been loving the feeling of once again losing myself to the beats. So, just picked up another pair of track pants and they are thick af. They’re quite heavy as well but seem to be sturdy which is an absolute must when you are supposed to stretch your legs in all different directions.

Harvard Grey Melange Track Pants. Was Rs 1599, now Rs 605.86

Well, this was my modest haul this season which I think might need a part 2 if Koovs come out with their “Under 500 Sale” again. Currently, they have a 70% off which is testing my self-control so much! Let us know what did you guys score this season in the comments below! We would love to drool on your finds as well!

PS: Excuse the weird lighting or lack thereof in the pictures. Hyderabad is blessing us with rain and hence bad lighting since the last week.

PPS: We have already made another haul after this post was written. SMH. Will cover the pieces in another post or on Insta! Don’t forget to follow us there.

Until later,
